PFAS pollution has, with good reason, been making a lot of headlines in the news lately. These carcinogens have spread across the globe, and can now be found in almost everywhere — from our drinking water to the bottom of Mariana Trench. So far, there hasn’t been a clear solution to the issue (there’s a reason these pollutants are called “Forever Chemicals), but pyrolysis and biochar could potentially be part of the solution.
